The answer is YES!
Not only is there the option of the traditional Moroccan plaster 'Tadelakt" but, there is also now many other primers, sealers, and different application methods that can be used to be able to get that gorgeous Venetian Plaster look within your wet use areas as well.
Our main recommendation when it comes to getting a new seamless plaster shower finish, we love Tadelakt! It's another form of plaster art that can really just transform a bathroom. It is commonly seen from ceiling down to walls and even allover the floor to create one seamless look for the room. This has gone further into shaping bath tubs and sinks with tadelakt plaster with the ability to do those crazy curved edges you just won't see on your standard bathroom renovation without the art of plaster.
It is going to be one of the more expensive plaster finishes. It is very labor intensive and usually 11 coats of different products to produce that elegant polished plaster appearance throughout your shower.
In comparison to getting those really nice large tiles, the install with materials on a Tadelakt plaster finish will likely be cheaper.
If you have already been inspired by the stunning look of Tadelakt throughout your space, read about some of the benefits:
Seamless meaning there are no grout lines for all that nasty build up with an easy to clean finish.
Made of a lime plaster which has its' own amazing benefits like being extremely breathable, eco-friendly, improves air quality, less likely to crack than cement based materials, and anti-fungal.
Has a beautiful, soft, natural appearance to add that extra elegance to any home whether that be a contemporary or even rustic type look.
If you are considering a Tadelakt transformation, just keep looking at those pictures and I'm sure you will be convinced what the best option is. We are a call away.
