Grassello (also known as Veneziano) is one of the finest and most luxurious plasters available. Made from high-quality lime putty and finely ground dolomite marble, it uses a much finer aggregate than traditional Venetian Plaster.
This creates a smooth, high-gloss, mirror-like polished marble finish with exceptional depth and light reflection. Grassello can be customized in virtually any color and is perfect for dramatic accent walls, elegant fireplaces, luxury bathrooms, and high-end commercial spaces.
Popular techniques include marble veining, gold leaf gilding, two-tone layering, and unique textures such as crocodile skin. It is also considered a finer version of Marmorino and delivers the ultimate polished stone appearance while remaining breathable and naturally antimicrobial.

Jake Wheeler, owner of Iconic Wall Finishing, did an amazing job for my bathroom walls—applying a microcement finish (waterproof texture with color). He mixed the product in the color I chose and, with another team member, did the work in a few days time. They came, did the work, and cleaned up the space when done. Highly recommend talking to him about your project. The textures he offers can really elevate the look of any room. For a bathroom, the waterproof walls mean no tile and no grout—a definite bonus.
